Arcadia Meat Market

The newly opened neighborhood butcher shop is located on the northwest corner of Indian School Road and 40th Street. It shares a shopping complex with Masterpiece Coffee and Doughnuts, Even Stevens, and others. Run by a second-generation Master Butcher, the market specializes in all-natural meats from farms and ranches all across Arizona. Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, open on weekends.

Dogtopia of Arcadia will be opening its doors later this month. The fully-equipped facility will serve as a destination for dog daycare, boarding and spa services. Dogtopia of Arcadia will be located at 3031 E. Indian School Road, on the south side of the road, next to the Filiberto’s and just to the east of QuikTrip.

The Camp Transformation Center of Arcadia

The Camp Transformation Center of Arcadia

Opened back in October offering local residents a destination to transform their minds and bodies by creating a community and culture that breeds positive behavior. Run by local entrepreneur Darrin Acevedo and his team, programs at the center consist of group training with dynamic interval workouts, nutrition and supplement plans and highly qualified trainers. The new space is located at 3550 E. Indian School Road.

Barro’s Pizza

The shopping complex on the southwest corner of Indian School Road and 32nd Street seems to never stop expanding. The newest addition is Barro’s Pizza, which opened its 40th store last month, next to the McDonalds and ProteinHouse.

“We have wanted to open a location in Arcadia for years,” said Bruce Barro, owner of Barro’s Pizza. “So when the right location became available, we jumped at the chance to bring Grandma Barro’s pizza to this neighborhood!”
