Where will my ad be placed? Can I get page X?

We move ads around each month to give all advertisers fair exposure from the back to the front. We do offer some “Premium” locations in the paper for an additional 30% monthly. Contact your representative for more information on availability of these pages.

Keep in mind that the Arcadia News is a monthly publication. We frequently hear from our readers that they read the paper “cover to cover.” In a daily publication, readers are more prone to “thumbing through” and as such, placement will have a bigger impact. In a monthly paper, the quality and attraction of the ad is probably more important than the placement of it.

Will you do a story about my business?

The Arcadia News does not print “advertorial” or promotional editorial. We keep advertising and editorial separate, and strive to provide relevant community and neighborhood news, without compromising our integrity. You are welcome to submit story ideas to our editor, who will consider all submissions for our publication, but please understand that we do not print advertorial. Can I send you an idea for a story or something to put in your Community Happenings (Calendar)?

You bet! Some of our best stories come from our readers and neighbors. Please keep in mind that we receive hundreds of submissions every month, and many are not used due to space limitations. Please understand that we do not explain why we print what we do and we will not debate the “newsworthiness” of one article over another. If you have sent us something for consideration and your e-mail or snail mail has not been returned to you with an error, or your fax has gone through, we have received it. Please do not call us to see if we received your editorial submission.

How can I pay for my ad?
We accept checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

I can’t make it by when you are open – how do I get you something?
Feel free to drop it in our locked mailbox, which is located right next to our entrance, at 3850 East Indian School Road.
