All of us at Arcadia News would like to give a shout out to the amazing fathers in our neighborhood and let our own dads know just how much we love them.
Dad-I appreciate all you’ve done for me. From the turbulent teenage years to the overly busy family-of-four years, you’ve always been there. Your guidance, love and support encourage me as a father, a professional, a husband and a volunteer. I’m proud to be your son.
Father’s Day is a special time to reflect on the time
I spent with my late father. He was passionate and loved his family. When I was a little girl, he patiently taught me how play chess and fish. In later years, we didn’t see each other often and I wish I could give him a hug today.
Like Frenchie said in one of our favorite movies, “The only man a girl can depend on is her daddy.” Without you, I wouldn’t be where I am today and I am so thankful for all the things you taught me growing up and even now. I am so grateful for your support and I hope you have an amazing Father’s Day.
You are a man of few words, but also one of significant thought and the type of person who puts others before himself. Thank you for teaching me to play baseball and for trying with golf and basketball:) Thank you for being an example of hard work and empathy.
On this day, do something for yourself.
You deserve it.
